Walk with me
To enter the new millenium, swedish brand Absolut Vodka chose Rosemarie Trockel as "Absolut Artist" - among her predecessors are people like Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst. There was a big party in Berlin with a live performance by Justus Köhnke, a homage to Hildegard Knef: Spirals Of Memory. The commissioned art work was the striptease of a bottle, a video showing a black wool thread uncloaking and re-cloaking a bottle, accompanied by a beat by Carlo Peters.
Some money and an idea were left, and Rosemarie delegates the realization of "shooting bottles" entirely to Marc Comes. The editing followed a piece by Thomas Brinkmann: »Walk with me«. As usual with low budget productions, the clip was made in collaboration with friends and other folks willing to exploit themselves. Here's the list of the trigger-happy mob: Philipp Schlickum, Michael Kerkmann, Franz Schlickum, Pino Pipoli, Ondi Zahora, Sandra Münchenbach, Karsten Klimmek, Gisa Falkowski and Carlo Peters.
